わたしのスケジュール

まいにち　はちじに　おきます。　あさごはんを　たべます。まいあさ　パンを　たべます。まいあさ　ぎゅうにゅうを　のみます。それから　 じゅうじに　だいがくへ　あるいて　いきます。　げつようびと　すいようびに　クラスは　じゅうじから　じゅうにじまで　です。　じゅうにじはんから　ごご　いちじ ごふんまで　ひるごはんを　たべます。　かようびと　もくようびに　クラスは　じゅうじから　さんじまで　です。　ひるごはんを　たべません。

よじから　ろくじまで　べんきょうします。それから　ドストエフスキーの　ほんを　よみます。　　　　　しちじじゅうごふんに　ばんごはんを　たべます。　ときどき　ともだちと　ばんごはんを　たべます。ごご　じゅういちに　ねます。

きにようびと　どようびに　ごぜん　くじから　ごご　ごじまで　べんきょします。　しゅくだいを　します。 まいしゅうのきんようびのばん　ともだちに　あいます。　　パーティーを　します。　どようびのばん　スーパーへ　いきます。　パンとにくとやさいを　かいます。　それから サッカーを　します。
にちようびに　いつも　やすみます。　ときどき　にわで　ほんを　よみます。　ときどき　びじゅつかんへ　いきます。　ときどき　どこへも　いきません。　テレビを　みます。　ねます。　

Why Japanese?

I chose to study Japanese because I think that Japan has a very interesting culture and history, which I would like to learn more about. One of the best ways of doing this is learning the language. Until now I have only been exposed through Japanese culture through TV and Japanese restaurants, and I am very excited to finally have the opportunity to discover the culture in a deeper way. I also just really like the sound of the language and think that it is nice to finally be able to understand it.

So far I think reading hiragana is the most challenging aspect of Japanese. However, I am making progress and gradually I find myself reading Hiragana with more ease.  Learning the vocabulary is also a challenge because it is so different from that of Western languages. But the more I get into it, the more I understand the internal logic of the language and find it easier to memorize new vocabulary.
